The event will feature a variety of ways to have fun in the outdoors, including interactive nature tables and face painting. Naturalist-led hikes will be offered at 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Hike participants should wear closed-toed shoes.
Summer Fun Day is being held during the statewide free fishing weekend. Fishing equipment will be available for visitors to try out with assistance from staff from 1 to 4 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for the first fish of the day and largest fish of the day.
Crowder State Park is located west of Trenton off Highway 6. For more information about the event, call the park directly at 660-359-6473.
