JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Are you interested in protecting our natural resources and finding a way to give back to the earth? Join park staff April 22 for an Earth Day of Service at Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park in Wildwood.
Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the Day of Service will involve helping staff eradicate invasive species that are harming the park’s environment. Groups, families and individuals are welcome to participate. Registration is required so adequate tools will be available and staff can organize the effort.
Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park is located 20 miles west of St. Louis on Highway BA, between U.S. 40 and Highway 100. For more information about the event and to register, call the park’s visitor center at 636-458-3813. For more information about state parks and historic sites, visit mostateparks.com.
