Monday, March 11, 1:00 p.m. – Regular Open Meeting:
Opening comments and announcement of actions taken in executive session, if any – Director Robert Ziehmer.

Approval of minutes of previous meeting.

February Monthly Financial Summary.

Major Construction Projects Completed and Status of Major CI-IT Projects Funded in FY13 Budget.



Recommendation for approval to purchase approximately 77.5 acres in Shannon County as an addition to Rocky Creek Conservation Area.

Recommendation for authorization to advertise and sell an estimated 897,441 board feet of timber from 621 acres of Compartment 22 on Sunklands Conservation Area in Shannon County.

Recommendation for approval of personnel reclassifications.

1:45 p.m.         Black Bear Management Plan and Research Project – Resource Scientist Jeff Beringer.

2:00 p.m.         Flow Regimes for Missouri Stream Systems presentation and recommendation for approval of a new Department policy.

Report of the Regulations Committee, which includes recommendations for changes to the Wildlife Code, including but not limited to, daily, possession, and length limits for blue catfish on Lake of the Ozarks and Truman Lake, and amendments regarding commercial harvest of shovelnose sturgeon to align Missouri’s regulations with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s similarity of appearance ruling.

Staff Presentation:
2:45 p.m.         Deer Management Review and Planning Update – Resource Science Division Chief Mike Kruse.

Recommendations for approval to suspend or revoke 1) one or more hunting, fishing, or trapping privileges of individuals for cause, 2) all hunting and fishing privileges of individuals who are not in compliance with applicable child support laws, 3) one or more hunting, fishing and trapping privileges of individuals in accordance with the terms of the Interstate Wildlife Violator Compact, and 4) hunting privileges of individual(s) who inflicted injury to another person while hunting.
