JEFFERSON CITY, MO., OCT. 12, 2011 -- Take a peek at the past Oct. 22 with an afternoon of fun, historic crafts, skills and games at Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park in Wildwood. Join staff from the park and the Rockwood School District for this free event from 1 to 3 p.m. at the park's historic riding stables.
After an afternoon of fun and game, take a walking tour to meet ghosts from the area’s past and learn what daily life was like before this land was a park. Enjoy the opportunity to learn more about what is offered in the park and view the historic riding stables.
