Families are invited to participate in a scavenger hunt May 16 at St. Joe State Park. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the scavenger hunt will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All interested participants should meet at the Blankshire Trailhead at St. Joe State Park. Each family will receive a map, scavenger list and answer sheet, which will take them on a search of St. Joe State Park and nearby Missouri Mines State Historic Site. The hunt will involve some driving and moderate trail hiking as participants learn more about the park and site. Prizes will be awarded for completed hunts.
The park is located at 2800 Pimville Road approximately three miles south of Hwy. 32 in Park Hills. For more information, call the park at 573-431-6226.
