The public is invited to bring their ideas to an open house Saturday, June 23 at Long Branch State Park near Macon. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the open house will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Long Branch Marina Store. They will also discuss future plans at the park and give an overview of the park and its resources. A question-and-answer session will follow. Visitors are invited to share comments on the park and its facilities. Long Branch State Park is located two miles west of the U.S. Highway 63 and 36 junction in Macon County.
